The collaboration between Eurolls, INFN, and UNIUD continues with the publication of a new academic research paper in the journal "Materials Today Communications" entitled "Tribological optimization of titanium-based PVD multilayer hard coatings deposited on steels used for cold rolling applications". This research has the aim of increasing the wear resistance of the rolls by using the PVD coatings, and was carried out thanks to the research made by members of the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Udine, Eurolls S.p.A., and the National Institute for Nuclear Physics | National Laboratories of Legnaro.
